SaaS Security Model

Your data in safe hands

Your company's data security is our priority. Discover the standards, procedures, and technologies that protect equipment records and inspection protocols in the QRventory system.

Infrastructure and GDPR Compliance

QRventory is hosted on stable Oracle Cloud VPS servers. All customer data is physically stored in data centers within the European Union (Frankfurt). This guarantees full compliance with EU data protection regulations (GDPR) and the highest availability standards.

Encryption and Data Protection

We ensure data security at every stage of processing. Communication between the application and servers is fully encrypted (SSL/TLS protocol). User passwords are never stored in plain text – we use the industry-standard, one-way bcrypt hashing algorithm. The database itself operates in an isolated internal network, protected from direct external access.

Secure QR Scanning (Operational Data)

QRventory's key feature is quick equipment status access without login. For security reasons, after scanning a QR code, the system only provides essential operational data: Tag (ID), Name, Status, Category, Location and Place, and Next Inspection Date. All critical actions, such as equipment withdrawal or protocol generation, strictly require full authentication.

Backups and Reliability

In the SaaS model, we take responsibility for business continuity. Full database backups are performed daily. You can be confident that your equipment lifecycle history, repairs, and OHS documentation are always protected against unforeseen events.

Confidentiality and Access Control

Your data belongs exclusively to you. Administrative access on the QRventory side is strictly limited. Only designated, authorized system administrators have technical access to the system, and this access is used solely for technical support purposes – always and only upon explicit, documented customer request.

Continuous Security Development

We monitor cybersecurity trends and continuously develop our product. As part of the upcoming roadmap, we plan to implement features such as two-factor authentication (2FA), providing an additional layer of protection for accounts of equipment managers in your organization.
